Two books by Icelandic authors are topping the list of best-selling crime novels in France: is ‘The Mist’ (Mistur, 2017) by Ragnar Jónasson, in first place, and Arnaldur Indriðason’s ‘Wall of Silence’ (Þagnarmúr, 2020), in second place. Indriðason has been popular in France for about two decades, followed by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, Jónasson and, lately, Eva Björg Ægisdóttir.
