Grandmasters Helgi Ólafsson and Jóhann Hjartarson are certain to have identified the chess table used by Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky when playing the 7.-21 st chess matches in the ‘World Chess Championship’ (aka the ‘Chessbattle of the Century’), which was held in Laugardalshöll (Reykjavík), in July 1972.
