Finnish Food Safety Agency: food firm ‘Raisio’ has recalled some of its broad bean (‘härkäpapu’ in Finnish) products due to the discovery of listeria bacteria that can cause a disease called listeriosis. The recall applies to 250gr packages of Raisio’s Beanit umami crumb products with expiration dates 25-26 August 2022, sold in retail stores all over Finland. In recent years, broad bean products have become a popular, domestically grown plant-based protein source in Finland. If you are among those who bought this lot, just contact Raisio’s customer service. Read more on YLE.fi
