Sweden thrashed the Czech Republic 9:3 to lift their 10th ‘Men’s World Floorball Championship’ trophy in Zurich, in front of over 10,000 spectators at the Swiss Life Arena. It was a pure demonstration of power from the Swedish side as they took a 4:0 after the first period already. The Swedish goal fest was opened by the Blågult youngster and eventual MVP Malte Lundmark, who celebrated his WFC debut at this year’s edition, after 7 minutes. The Czech were not able to find into their rhythm at all and Sweden made them pay for every single mistake. The climax of the #WFC2022 turned into a pure gala for Niklas Norden’s men: the reigning World Champs booked a strong 9:3 win in the gold medal game to add the 10th World Floorball Championships title to their tally.
