The animated film ‘Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by’ (‘People and robbers in Kardemomme Town’) is about the three robbers Kasper, Jesper and Jonatan who live just outside the peaceful Kardemomme Town. At night, Kasper and Jesper and Jonatan sneak into town to steal, which rarely goes as planned. One day, the robbers are arrested and placed in the town jail. But when a fire breaks out, the trio gets another chance to prove to the town that they are more than just robbers. The film is directed by Rasmus A. Sivertsen, who previously directed ‘The Animals in the Hakkebakkeskoven’ and ‘Bakkekøbing – The Great Cheese Race’.
