‘Innan vi dör’ (‘Before we die’) is a Swedish thriller series produced by B-Reel Films (BR•F) for Sveriges Television. It premiered on January 15, 2017 with Marie Richardson, Adam Pålsson, Alexej Manvelov and Sofia Ledarp in the main roles. Pålsson won ‘Kristallen 2017’ for his role in the category ‘male actor of the year in a television production’. The program is a co-production between SVT, German ZDF and Filmregion Stockholm-Mälardalen/Film Capital Stockholm and filming began in November 2015. The series follows Hanna, who works at the Stockholm police unit for organized crime and is drawn into a power struggle in the underworld when her lover and colleague Sven is kidnapped. The situation becomes even more complicated when she realizes that one of those involved is her own son Christian (Pålsson), with whom Hanna has lost contact since she saw to it that he was arrested for drug possession.
