Last year Reykjavik Grapevine published an interesting ‘state of the art’ article related to a genre that very few writers in Iceland have explored: fantasy. Which is weird, considering how rich in fantasy stories Icelandic history is: one can find remnants of it in ‘Lord Of The Rings’ as well as in countless video games, movies and so much more… but not very many Icelandic books.
