SAS pilots halt bringing stranded passengers back to Scandinavia1 min read

On July the 10th, the SAS pilots union (SPG) stopped providing charter flights to bring stranded Scandinavian passengers back home. SPG consider SAS in breach of the agreement under which SAS pilots would have operated charter flights exclusively on return legs from scarcely connected destinations. SAS disagrees to this position, as it considers destinations the likes of Split or Crete as unlikely to be easily rebooked for stranded passengers. The heated head-to-head stays, and passengers are the ones paying the highest toll.
