
FIS Ski Jumping World Cup (Lake Placid): Halvor Egner Granerud (Norway) claimed his 10th win of the season (23rd World Cup victory altogether) in the third and last competition of the ski jumping weekend in Lake Placid (USA) and still leads the overall World Cup ranking with 1652 points ahead of Kubacki (1359 points). Andreas Wellinger and Stefan Kraft completed the podium on Sunday. The return to Lake Placid after a 33-year break was a triumphant success for the ski jumpers: “I hope we will have Lake Placid permanently in the ski jumping calendar in the future, this is a wonderful place for ski jumping,” said Norway’s coach Alex Stöckl.
