
Marcin Tomaszewski and Pawel Haldas went by snowmobile over the frozen ocean from the town of Ummaannaq (Greenland) to the nearby islands, where they picked a huge vertical wall they described as “Greenland’s El Capitan”, and climbed in -36ºC temperatures, releasing no news for 26 days. Now (presumably) in Ummaannaq, and judging from the first photos undisclosed to the press, the guys clearly found the winter El Dorado they sought.
