Established as a company team by Finnish expatriate workers in 2000, ‘Stavanger Oilers’ is a Norwegian professional ice hockey team based in Stavanger (western Norway). They currently play in the Fjordkraftligaen, the top division in Norwegian ice hockey. The Oilers won the Norwegian title 9 times (2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2022, 2023) and the 2013-14 ‘IIHF Continental Cup’.
