Thanks to its huge selection of books, Saxo is Denmark’s largest bookstore: they have millions of Danish and English titles on their shelves in all genres and in all available formats: printed books, e-books and audiobooks. Saxo’s history dates back to 1961: that was the year a young married couple opened a new bookshop in Østerbro, Copenhagen. Here they connected readers and books for decades until their son Jørgen Balle Olesen took over the store in 2000, and expanded it with an online bookstore.
