Beginning with 2024, the Finnish police will cease using X/Twitter for operational communications, the authority will use its own website (under a newly-revamped section) to inform the public about ongoing operations. According to a spokesperson for the ‘National Police Board’, the decision is due to the platform’s reduced reach.
