Mapei strengthens its presence in Denmark with the opening of a new plant in Vejen, Jutland, where new offices, a warehouse and a plant for the production of concrete admixtures will be located. The Italian company, a leader in the production of chemical products for the building industry, will expand its presence in Denmark in January 2024 by acquiring a 15,000 square metre plant, a strategic investment that confirms Mapei’s commitment to Mapei’s commitment to expand in the Nordic countries. Thanks to the availability of an advanced local production facility, Mapei Denmark will improve its ability to meet the growing demand for high quality building materials, becoming a leading player in the Danish construction industry and, at the same time, reducing its contribution to the carbon footprint related to transport. The company will use its new resources in Denmark to develop and produce high-performance products and high-performance solutions, in particular concrete admixtures.
