The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced in a press release that the Swedish investigation into the sabotage against the gas pipelines Nord Stream 1 and 2 in the Baltic Sea is closed. The preliminary investigation has been going on for just over 16 months with the help of the Swedish Navy and Coast Guard, and has been systematic and thorough. According to the Chamber prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist, the Swedish jurisdiction is missing. Parallel investigations have also been underway in Germany, Denmark and Poland, and the German preliminary investigation continues.
