Copenhagen Light Festival

In February, Copenhagen is, for the seventh year in a row, filled with beautiful light installations as the Copenhagen Light Festival takes over the city. From the second of February until the 25th of February, the harbour and city space are lit up by beautiful light installations offering extraordinary light experiences from Nordhavn to Ørestad.

Colour and Light – The Legacy of Impressionism exhibition introduces Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist art from the period 1860–1916. The exhibition shows top names in international art, such as Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro and Alfred Sisley, side by side with artists from the heyday of Finnish Colourism.

Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra: Leif Ove Andsnes plays Beethoven
21.02.2024 – 22.02.2024

‘Arresting maturity, stylistic acumen and utter delight’ (The Daily Telegraph) combine in Leif Ove Andsnes’s performance of Beethoven’s last piano concerto, the Emperor. Following his multi-award-winning recording of the work, the Bergen-resident pianist returns to the Grieg Hall for this performance with Chief Conductor Edward Gardner.

CirkusMania – Circus Festival 2024

CirkusMania is a twelve-day circus festival that presents the latest in contemporary circus. There will be everything from international guest performances for the adult audience to an alphabet circus and stick horse circus for the festival’s younger visitors. The festival runs from 9-20 February and takes place on around 30 stages around the Stockholm region.
