
A new research published in ‘Nature Communications‘ shows that the Arctic Ocean will undergo major changes in the coming decades, up to the point that it will be unrecognizable by 2100. As ice melts on the surface, the Arctic Ocean will be more exposed to wind that will create stronger currents, first on the surface and then further down in the water column, where ice will start melting as well.
