The Nordic region has the potential to generate significant societal benefits and competitive advantages by improving collaboration on AI, while also addressing major societal challenges. Therefore, AI Sweden, in collaboration with AI Finland and IKT-Norway, has been tasked by Nordic Innovation to develop a proposal for a Nordic AI Center focused on AI application and development.
AI Sweden
AI Sweden is the national center for applied artificial intelligence, jointly funded by the Swedish government and our partners — public and private. Our mission is to accelerate the use of AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness, and for everyone living in Sweden.
IKT Norge
IKT Norge is an independent member organization for companies within the digital tech sector. Our members are large and small companies from various digital industries both across Norway and global, with a common business-idea in technology and digital solutions. IKT Norge offers Norway’s largest network across the digital industry.
AI Finland
The AI Finland network brings together companies and other actors interested in artificial intelligence. Its initial funding is part of Technology Industries of Finland’s EUR 13.2 million investment in artificial intelligence. In its first years, the network operates under the umbrella of Technology Industries of Finland, but in the future the aim is to develop it into an independent operator funded and guided by its members.
