“Flee” (Denmark) and “The Worst Person In The World” (Norway) are among the five finalists for ‘Best International Feature Film’ at the 94th Academy Awards. Flee is the incredible true story of Amin, who traveled from Afghanistan to Denmark as a child refugee: “[…] an important film that shows us the real human tragedy behind every refugee’s story […]” so Director of the Danish Film Institute, Claus Ladegaard. The Worst Person In The World follows Julie, who is turning 30 years old and still trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Kjersti Mo, Director of the Norwegian Film Institute, said: “[…] this nomination puts Norwegian film on the world map and will help people to discover great stories made in Norway.” The Oscars 2022 will be presented on 27th March 2022.
