Berlin-based ‘Films Boutique‘ has acquired international sales rights to Vincent Kelner’s documentary “A Taste of Whale”: produced by the Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning producer Rémi Grellety, the film examines the “grind”, or the centuries-old tradition of whale hunting in the Faroe Islands during which roughly 1,000 pilot whales are hunted, beached and killed by knife in the fjords. International campaigners have condemned the Faroese whaling practice, but the Faroese people are pointing out the absurdity of individuals who eat meat without considering what happens in slaughterhouses.
