In an interview with Italian journalist Tonia Mastrobuoni (Repubblica.it), the Finnish Minister of Defense Annti Kaikkonen explains that right after Easter the Parliament will resume works that might lead soon, even before summer, Finland to decide joining NATO. Kaikkonen is concerned with a possible reaction by Russia, whether it will be military or on some other level. The Minister explains that, over the years, the Finnish Army has been maintained in full force and updated, mainly as a deterrent to possible aggressions on the borders shared with Russia.
