Faroe Games (“Føroyaleikir”) is the name of a recurring summer competition in all ÍSF sports. As the ‘Guernsey Olympics’ in 2021 were canceled due to Covid19, ÍSF decided to hold another relief conference in the Faroe Islands: Faroese games will be back in the days June 30 – July 3, 2022. The plan is to include all the sports represented by ÍSF and hold competitions in four different municipalities across the Faroe Islands: Vágur, Tórshavn, Runavík and Klaksvík. ÍSF sees great growth opportunities in the initiative, so the intention is to host the Faroese Games year after year for fun, opportunities and inviting foreign guests.
