First snow of winter 2022 has been officially observed in the Kainuu region of eastern Finland on Friday morning: three weather stations recorded snowfall of between 1 and 2 centimetres (Puolanka Kotila 2 cm, Puolanka Paljakka 2 cm and Ristijärvi Mustavaara 1 cm). Read more on YLE.fi
