December has, until now, been characterized by relatively cold weather in Denmark, while the temperature in many places in Greenland has been well above normal for the season, in Nuuk even with several rainy days. The weather has therefore turned a little on its head, compared to what we would normally expect. A claim most people may have heard at one point or another is ‘When the cold “bites” in Denmark, they “sweat” in Greenland‘.
