‘Bien Sparebank’ was listed on Oslo Børs (Euronext Group) on Wednesday 14 December, recording a positive debut. It is the third listing on the main market this year in Norway and the fifteenth on Oslo Børs in total: with Bien Sparebank, there are now 213 companies traded on the Oslo Børs main market. Founded in 1885, Bien Sparebank is the oldest independent savings bank in Oslo and retail customers account for 85% of its business: according to CEO Lena Jorundland, the listing is part of the institution’s strategy to become ‘The Advisory Bank’ in Oslo.
