For the first time in the history of the Davis Cup, Finland will be in the final group stage: the Finns beat Argentina 3-1 thanks to three wins by Emil Ruusuvuori (singles ranking #53) against Cachin, in the doubles (with Harri Heliovaara, double ranking #10) and in the last match against Bagnis. The matches were played at the ‘Espoo Metro Arena’ (Espoo, Finland) on 04-05 February 2023. Surface: Hard, Laykold MF4, Indoor. Finland, along with Sweden, are among the 16 national teams that will be divided into four groups, with the first two teams in each group advancing to the finals in Malaga from 22 to 27 November.
