Courchevel-Meribel 2023 Ski World Championships: James Crawford (Canada) defeated all of the men’s super-G favourites winning his first major gold medal. Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (Norway) was pipped into silver by +0.01 seconds. Kilde secured his first ever World Championships medal, but had mixed feelings for having missed the gold that was at hand: literally, just 27cms away.
