There could hardly be another No. 1 on the newly released EHF men’s national team ranking than Denmark. The ranking includes the 2021 and 2023 IHF World Championships, which Denmark both won, and the EHF EURO 2022, where they earned bronze. Denmark (448 points) are followed by European champions Sweden (424) and Spain (400); Norway is fifth, and Iceland is ninth. The ranking is important for the draw of phase 1 of the European qualification for the 2025 IHF Men’s World Championship. The draw on Wednesday 5 July at 11:00 CEST is streamed live on YouTube.
