Finland organized the ‘WBHC’ (World Bow Hunter Championship) 2023 (30 June – 8 July) in Finnish Lapland, for the first time in the history of Field Archery. The experience will be unique as there is sunshine for 24 hours every day, and everybody shoots also during Midnight! The ranges and the warmup field are located within walking distance from the Competition Centre. One of the rounds starts in the evening, and archers come back from the course during the first hours of the next morning. The host town, Rovaniemi, is a modern university city, known as the “Capital of Lapland” with top level accommodation and good restaurants, very popular for travellers as it offers several activities for families and kids (Santa Claus lives only six km away from the city…). Finland, Rovaniemi, FFAA and the WBHC23 team welcome you warmly to World Bowhunter Championships 2023!
