Come see our latest exhibition, ‘Arctic Highways: 12 Indigenous Artists of the Circumpolar North.’

Arctic Highways invites you to explore contemporary art and handicraft by Indigenous artists from Sápmi, Canada, and Alaska and consider “Arctic Highways”—channels for the fluid exchange of art and culture—that existed long before the artificial borders of nation-states.

While you’re here, be sure to spend time with our ‘Wayfinders’ exhibition, too. The exhibition features sculptures by Icelandic artist Steinunn Þórarinsdóttir, guiding you through the public spaces of the National Nordic Museum. Wayfinders considers life’s journey, including travels and resettlement abroad generally, and the Nordic-American experience specifically.

Join us Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Walk-ins welcome!
