
On September 14, angry citizens and associations of northern Jutland staged a large-scale protest in Aalborg, barricading the path of the Prime Minister, economic and foreign ministers, who were visiting to deliver a debate. According to Anna Kirsten Olesen, chairman of FH trade union in North Jutland, the demonstration was meant to tell the government that no more tax cuts can be accepted, as there are already too many cuts at the municipal and regional level and the working environment for public employees is weakened.
