SSAB Europe’s Business Unit Finland is to initiate change negotiations in Raahe because of continued weak demand. The target is to structurally reduce the fixed costs by at least EUR 10 million on an annual basis. The negotiations will discuss alternatives to increase flexibility in operations and adjust to weakened demand, while taking into account future needs.
