The ‘Finnish Cup’ (Finnish: Suomen cup; Swedish: Finlands cup) is Finland’s main national cup competition in football: it is open for all member clubs of the FA of Finland (314 teams competed in the 2022 season) and has been played since 1955. All teams participate in one and the same Finnish Cup, regardless of league level: since the 2022 season, the format returned to the traditional “win or out” model. The winner currently qualifies for the UEFA Europa Conference League: the current champions are Ilves (4th title). The most successful clubs are HJK (14 titles, 8 finals) and FC Haka (12 titles, 3 finals).
