Iceland: number of the employed increased by 3,2% between years1 min read

Iceland: in total, 219,500 individuals were employed in the Icelandic labour market in September 2023, according to register-based data. The number of employed increased by around 6,700 between years, which corresponds to an increase of 3.2%. The number of employed females in September was around 102,900 and the number of males was around 116,600.
