On December 2-3, the eyes of the skiing world and over 20 million television viewers will again be directed towards Gällivare when the COOP FIS Cross Country World Cup visits Hellnerstadion for two days of competitions. Gällivare has a long tradition of organizing major international competitions such as the World Cup and Junior WC. For many years, the ski stadium at the foot of Dundret was a recurring competition venue for the season premiere of the World Cup, and after an 11-year absence, the competitions with the entire world elite are back again.
