
The Guardian interviews Bjartmar Leósson, AKA the Reykjavík ‘bike whisperer’: since 2019, through his Facebook page ‘Hjóladót ofl. tapað fundið eða stolið’ (‘Bicycle stuff etc lost, found or stolen’), Leósson has helped find stolen bicycles and contributed to the reduction of this phenomenon. With a population of 139,875 people, two-wheeled transport is on the rise in Reykjavík.
