FIS Cross Country Skiing World Cup in Lahti: Krista Parmakoski (Finland) won the Women’s 20km Interval Start Classic on home soil; in third and fifth place for other Finnish skiers. Of the first six athletes, five are from the Nordics: 3 Finnish and 2 Swedish.
