According to the latest report from the ‘Icelandic Tourist Board’, 212.000 foreign tourists (38% of which were Americans) visited Iceland in June, 21.000 fewer than June of 2023: a 9% decrease year over year. Despite the lower June numbers, during 2024 Iceland saw 963.000 foreign passengers, compared to about 953.000 during the same period last year: the annual total shows a slight 1% increase.
