The top three universities in Sweden were Karolinska (49th place worldwide), KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Lund (both 95); Copenhagen (97), Aarhus (110) and DTU (Technical University of Denmark, 124) lead in Denmark; Oslo (116) leads in Norway, with Bergen (251-300) and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (301-350) further down the ranking. Most universities saw their rankings improve, indicating increasing international recognition.
