The 2024 European Women’s Handball Championship is held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024. This is the first tournament to feature 24 teams and Norway are the two time defending champions.
Iceland and Faroe Islands did not make it beyond the preliminary round, whereas Sweden qualified for the 5th place final. Norway and Denmark qualified for the final after beating, respectively, Hungary (30-22) and France (24-22). Denmark – Norway will be played on Sunday 15 December.
