Norway won the 2024 European Women’s Handball Championship for the 10th time, by defeating Denmark 31-23 in the Final:

The 2024 European Women’s Handball Championship was held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024, the first tournament to feature 24 teams.

Iceland and Faroe Islands did not make it beyond the preliminary round, whereas Sweden qualified for the 5th place final. Norway and Denmark qualified for the final after beating, respectively, Hungary (30-22) and France (24-22) and then played the Final on Sunday 15 December.
