On May 29, the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen will host ‘Burgerfest x Tivoli Food Festival’, an event dedicated to World Hamburger Day and included in the Tivoli Food Festival running from May 23 to 31. The initiative places the Danish capital at the center of northern European gastronomy, with the Gardens turned into a stage for Nordic food culture. Among the featured names is chef Kristian Baumann, who will present gourmet versions of the burger, reflecting the event’s focus on high-end interpretations of a popular dish. Visitors will be able to watch burgers being prepared and taste dishes inspired by fine dining in an immersive setting designed to bring culinary techniques and public participation together. The festival combines celebration, demonstration and tasting within one program, linking the international appeal of the hamburger with the broader culinary identity associated with Copenhagen and the Tivoli venue.
