Finnish national airline Finnair reported a 132.9m euros loss for Q1/2022, however its turnover increased to 400m euros (+252%), and passenger numbers rose to 1.5m (+500%), thanks to the easing of Covid restrictions. Finnair also announced a new cost reduction programme that should secure 60m euros permanent savings thanks to the continuous improvement on operations, distribution and aircraft leases: the 60m savings shall be added to the 200m euros savings already achieved.
