The Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships will be held this year in Haderslev, a small town in southern Denmark almost on the border with Germany. A World Championship that promises to be very fast in light of a course that does not have any major climbs to overcome and that, according to the experts, could favour pass riders and those with an important cross-country background. The challenge scheduled for Saturday morning at 8.30 a.m. is on a 40-kilometre-long circuit with only 500 metres of elevation gain that will be repeated three times by the men and twice by the women, although the overall length of the women’s race will be 87.5 kilometres due to the inclusion in the first lap of an additional 7.5-kilometre-long section.
