Roman Theatre in Ostia Antica. The Swedish progressive death metal band ‘Opeth‘, formed in Stockholm in 1990, plays tonight at the ‘Ostia Antica Archaeological Park’. Opeth’s frontman and main songwriter is Mikael Åkerfeldt: over the years the band has incorporated elements of progressive rock, folk, blues and jazz within its sound. They have recorded 13 studio albums and recorded four live albums. Opening act will be the Icelandic band ‘The Vintage Caravan‘.
