Second competition day of the COOP FIS Cross-Country World Cup in the Norwegian city of Lillehammer, Sprint racing in Free technique. Emma Ribom from Sweden doubled up on her Sprint victory from Ruka: the 25 year old gave no chances to her contenders and took her second ever World Cup victory of her four World Cup podiums of her career. Last season’s Sprint World Cup winner Maja Dahlqvist crossed the finish line only 0.17 seconds behind the winner, taking her first World Cup podium of the season. The Overall World Cup leader from Norway, Tiril Udnes Weng took the last spot on the podium and defended her yellow bib.
