On Wednesday, 1st of March 2023 the prestigious ‘Odd Fellow Palæet‘ in the heart of Copenhagen will host the first leg of 2023 ‘Gavi World Tour‘: a series of events dedicated to Gavi DOCG and organized by the ‘Consorzio Tutela del Gavi’ in some of the most important cities in the world to continue working on the international promotion of the Great White of Piedmont, enhancing its identity and versatility, core strengths of this appellation. This event will take place in the Rosensalen (2nd floor of the Palace) and will be a unique chance for attendees to learn more about this inclusive and naturally sophisticated wine thanks to a masterclass and a walk-around tasting. From 10:30 am to 12:00 pm the thematic masterclass entitled “Gavi DOCG: exploring the latest vintages and the ageing potential of Piedmont’s Great White” will be held by Sandro Minella, sommelier, and Morten Brink Iwersen, wine journalist. It will be followed by the professional tasting experience “Gavi DOCG: the Great White of Piedmont” featuring a high number of labels from Gavi DOCG producers, taking place from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
This is the first opportunity for Gavi to present itself to the Danish capital with an entirely dedicated event, in a market where interest in the appellation is constantly increasing.
