Björk has been forced to cancel her upcoming performances in Laugardalshöll (Reykjavík) where she was to bring her ‘Cornucopia’ tour to for three performances on June 7, 10 and 13. Here is the statement from Björk’s management, blaming the cancellations on “unexpected production issues.” Björk has been touring the world with ‘Cornucopia’ since debuting it in New York (spring 2019). ‘Cornucopia’ is a stage production (“digital theatre” and “sci-fi pop concert”) based on Björk’s 2017 album ‘Utopia’ and 2022 album ‘Fossara’, directed by Argentine film director Lucrecia Martel. Björk recently brought ‘Cornucopia’ to Tokyo (Japan, in March) and performed it at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ (U.S., in April).
