On the 10th of August in 1628, the warship Vasa sank on her first journey, in Stockholm harbour. It was a catastrophe at the time, but today the salvaged ship is an invaluable object. It continuously gives us new knowledge about the early 17th century, while we still remember the people who lost their lives that day in August.
