Modular Buildings are loved by many LEGO fans because they offer spectacular structures, brilliant building techniques and a rich selection of pieces. The release of 10255 ‘Assembly Square’ in 2017, the largest Modular Building (4002 pieces), marked the tenth year of the theme and was met by an exceptionally positive reaction.

Modular buildings’ removable sections let you access the detailed interior

Eight minifigures are included (plus a baby and a dog), split between those who are designed to fill a specific role (florist, photographer, dentist…) and those who are generic. The woman of the image below is a mother and an AFOL who occupies a small apartment above the bakery. 

It seems that LEGO will retire the ‘Assembly Square’ set at the end of 2023, see the video below for more information:
